Maggie Baron is an award-winning queer music supervisor based in Los Angeles. Previously Director of Music at GrandSon Creative, working closely with clients such as Neon, A24, HBO, and Netflix, she is currently Director of Music at Concept Arts, a theatrical marketing agency.
Beyond her professional expertise, Maggie channels her deep passion for music as a DJ on Serenity Rave, a monthly show on DUBLAB radio, a renowned LA-based non-profit institution.
Maggie's fascination with soundtracks was ignited at a young age, after being captivated by the sonic landscapes of films like Trainspotting, Go, and The Matrix. This early obsession evolved into a profound love for the intersection of cinematic visuals and sound. This passion led her to study electronic music at CalArts and Mills College, where she honed her skills in electronic theory, modular synthesizers and experimental sound art, building the foundation for her distinctive approach to music today.
